To Start Your Order
Please take the time
to read the information provided to you here... it will help you
understand the ordering process as to avoid mistakes, oversights,
confusion and the potential for delays and extra charges.
First
Things First... Get A
Quotation
Use
our automated web-quote system to e-mail yourself a quotation. If
the web-quote system doesn't provide you with the exact product
you require please contact us by phone or e-mail with your request
and we'll e-mail you back with a custom quote.
Understand The Process
We've
been in this business a long time so please believe us when we
say "Orders that start well typically finish well." With
that in mind, please take a few moments to read and understand our
Terms Of
Business as well as the section dedicated to important
things you should know. This will help to familiarize you with
our processes and requirements.
Step
1: Order Forms
Download and print
the DVDwest.ca Order Forms for the product you want - the forms are
located at the top of the white column on this page.
Fill in all of the
required information, date and sign where requested, and then
submit the Order Forms to us with the rest of your production
materials. If you have a web-quote or a custom-quote please
include that with your other materials and paperwork.
Step 2: Payment
Payment is
required in full at the time you place your order. We accept cash, bank
draft, money order, cashier's cheque, company cheque, Visa, Mastercard and American

Step
3: Your Master Disc
For
DVD orders please supply your Master Disc and back-up Master on
DVD-R. All client-supplied Master Discs are considered to be
received in "final form" which means you have reviewed them
thoroughly and confirm they are ready to manufacture as
supplied. [more info]
Never
send your originals – always keep your originals for
safe-keeping. Only send us copies of your originals.
Step 4: IPR Form
The Intellectual
Property Release Form (IPR Form) is included in your Project Order
Forms. This is an industry standard requirement where you declare
if you own the content on your Master or if you have permission
to reproduce the content on your Master. [more

Step 5: Artwork
Files
Artwork
issues are the # 1 reason for order delays and extra charges.
Please ensure that your artwork files are supplied on DVDwest.ca
templates and they conform to our artwork
specifications.
Always
supply artwork files on their own/separate disc or submit them to us via our
FTP.
Client-supplied artwork/design files are considered to be received
in "final form" - this means that they are ready to
manufacture as supplied with no need for modification.

Now Send In
Your Production Materials
a. Fax
your completed Order Forms to 604.530.2909 or supply them to us with
your Masters.
b. Clearly
identify your Master Discs with the title 'Master' and include
your name, phone number and job number on the discs.
c. Zip or Stuff your artwork files and title it with your job
title and job number. Upload
your artwork files to our FTP or supply your artwork files
to us on its own disc. If sending
an artwork disc you must clearly identify the disc with the title 'Artwork'
and include your name, phone number and job number on the discs.
d.
Provide payment. If you are paying by credit card but cannot
do so in person please complete the credit card payment section on
the Order Forms.
e.
Package up all your Assets in a manner that will protect them
from damage during shipping, and send them to us. We recommend you
use a courier so you can track the shipment. Postal mail (ie:
snail-mail) is notorious for being slow.
If you are
sending your Assets from
the United States (we are in Canada) you must declare the
value of the package to be LESS than $10 or a Customs Duty must be
paid. Note: We will not accept any shipments that require
C.O.D. or Customs/Duty payments.
